Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Overview: 

We’re looking for an organized, motivated individual to help the PL Programs executive team with a variety of tasks necessary for running the back office of the business. This ranges from coordination, administration, and light book-keeping to maintaining social media accounts and various other research items.

Job and Compensation:

Location: Largely remote / work from home but local candidates preferred.  Company is based in Carmel, Indiana.

Type: Hourly non-exempt

Part-time, 10-20 hours/week

Base rate: $15-25 / hr, depending on experience

Not eligible for company health care or IRA plans.

What you’ll be doing:

As an administrative assistant, you’ll support PL Programs with a variety of back-office support tasks, including things like:

  • Basic bookkeeping entries for customer invoices and transactions
  • Miscellaneous documentation and research tasks, etc.  
  • Interact with vendors, clients, and others as needed
  • Drafting and submitting invoices to customers
  • Coordinating meetings and meeting logistics
  • Maintaining social media accounts
  • Booking and coordinating travel
  • Assembling expense reports
  • Paying bills and invoices
  • Managing job postings
  • Website maintenance

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of working experience
  • Strong organizational skills, including document management, task tracking, and follow-through.
  • Experience managing small to medium projects
  • Strong initiative in figuring out what needs to be done and how to do it
  • Written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MS office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and able to learn / use variety of other PC and web-based tools
  • Eligible to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorship
  • Willing to take pre-employment screening (drug test, criminal background check, job profile test).
